Welcome to Tutor Time educational daycare in Itasca, IL! Our programs support children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our long-term staff is dedicated to making each child's educational experience a fun and loving one.
We recently have added some new safety protocols, following CDC and local health department guidelines. We have enhanced our protective equipment by having both staff and children 2 years and above wear a face covering, everyone entering must hand sanitize and or wash their hands upon entering the building, and visitors and families have limited access to the building to keep the common areas as safe as possible for the children. Additionally, we have added curb side drop off and pick up, extra cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day, and retraining staff that have returned on all safety protocols. We also practice social distancing as often as possible.
Communication is also key at our school. Brightwheel is an app that allows teachers to send you updates to your phone throughout the day along with photos of your child engaging in activities! Coming soon this fall we will also enhance our technology by adding WatchMeGrow, a live streaming tool for parents, where you can get a look into each classroom and see how much fun your child is having throughout the day! We are excited to offer this as it allows families to feel part of their child's day!
Our school services children from the following communities: Itasca, Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Addison, Wood Dale, and many more! We hope to see you stop by our school so we can introduce you to our teachers and tell you about our pathways to school readiness. Schedule a tour of Tutor Time in Itasca, IL today!
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Our first priority is creating a secure environment where infants both are safe and feel safe. In our Infants classroom, we provide toys and materials that allow for freedom of movement within safe boundaries, so children can explore, develop motor skills, and engage their natural curiosity. This makes the classroom both nurturing and stimulating.Learn More

Hi My name is Julie Mildenberger and I am the Center Director. I have been in the early childhood field for over 20 years. I have been a center Director for just over 11 years. During my time in early childhood I have been able to see many children grow and develop. My goal is to help our teachers implement and facilitate their classrooms so your child can prepare for school success. I love interacting with the families daily and feel that we are all an extended family!

I have been in the early childhood education field since 1999. I began working in the two year old room and also worked with the schoolagers. I began to work at Tutor Time in October of 2002. I became the Team Lead in 2006. I started working in the Pre-Kindergarten room in 2007. I became the Assistant Director in 2011. I enjoy music and art projects with the children. Watching the children grow and strive over the years brings me great pride.

I have been working at this location since we opened the doors in 2001. I started as an Infant Teacher and for the past several years now I have been a part of our management team. I have been in this field for over 25 years and have five boys of my own. The best part of my job is interacting with all of the kids and watching them grow from infancy, to driving them on the bus to Kindergarten.
