Welcome to Tutor Time educational daycare in Lake Zurich, IL. We also serve families from South Barrington, Barrington, Deer Park and Vernon Hills! My name is Nancy and I am the center director. I have 30 years of experience in the field.
At Tutor Time we offer Infant care, Preschool and other early education programs that provide a strong foundation for learning and development. We have a curriculum that is designed to meet each child's developmental needs and goals, as well as enrichment programs that emphasize health and nutrition. We also have two Montessori classrooms!
We have new technology in our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms! Children have iPads with educational apps, as well as soft shapes and letters that interact with the touchscreens. Plus, our Pre-K class has an Inspire Plus interactive table and features a SMART Lab with hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math.
Our building uses a coded entry system and each family has a unique pass code. Only prearranged adults may pick up children and our playground is gated. We also offer a mobile app for parents that sends real-time photos and updates.
We have wonderful teachers, several of whom hold bachelor's degrees in early childhood education. They each receive ongoing and monthly training.
I encourage you to come in for a tour of our fantastic facility to see everything that Tutor Time in Lake Zurich, IL, can offer your family.
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.
Ask your school director for additional details.
Education: Early Childhood Associate's Degree
I chose to pursue the early childhood field because of the vast amount of growth and development that occurs during a young child's life. Seeing them grow and change is amazing!
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Child Development
I've been in the early childhood education field for the past 12 years. I love working with children of every age group. I enjoy being able to share helpful tips, tricks, and strategies with the teachers to help them to make their classrooms the best environments they can be!
