Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Tutor Time Learning Center and Preschool in Lake Zurich, IL! We are proud to serve families from Lake Zurich and the surrounding communities of Barrington, Deer Park, Hawthorn Woods, Kildeer, and Palatine.
We offer Infant Care, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and School-Age programs that provide a strong foundation for learning and development. Our curriculum supports each child’s individual needs while building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. We also accept the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to help make quality child care accessible to more families.
Our caring, dedicated teachers participate in ongoing professional development and monthly training. Many also hold bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education.

Discover Our Montessori Classroom
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.

For the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of working in Early Childhood Education. I love watching children learn, grow, and reach new milestones every day. Having worked with children of all ages, I appreciate the unique personalities and experiences each child brings to the classroom. Children never fail to make me smile with their wonderful stories. In 2025, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Leadership, a milestone that reflects my dedication.

I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and more than 20 years of experience in child care. For the past 13 years, I’ve been proud to be part of the Tutor Time family, primarily working with toddlers. I’m passionate about helping children learn, grow, and reach new milestones. Watching them gain confidence, develop new skills, and discover the joy of learning is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
