Spring Cleaning With the Kiddos: Age-Appropriate Chores for Little Ones
Spring cleaning is a great time for children to learn about being responsible and taking care of themselves and others. Chores don’t have to be a chore—work together to figure out the best system for your family and in doing so, you’ll discover how helping can be fun!
At our Learning Care schools, we focus on helping children build active bodies and active minds—and that includes thoughtful, developmentally appropriate use of screens with an educational focus.
The more we study how children learn, the more we understand that play is the method that helps young children acquire new skills. When children play, they do much more than have fun. They’re actively building important skills that support their early growth and development.
The onset of the summer season brings warmer months and lots of extra plans outside in the elements. Whether it’s playing in the backyard, enjoying a pool day, or visiting a playground with friends, there are lots of things for parents to keep in mind to keep children safe.
