Welcome to Our School

Thank you for visiting Tutor Time educational daycare in Shelby Township, MI! My name is Maria and I am the director. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Central Michigan University and over 13 years of experience as a manager.

At Tutor Time we offer Infant, Toddler and Preschool programs that provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. Our School-Age curriculum is made up of multiple clubs focused on goal setting, reflection and team-building. Our school is nationally accredited by NAEYC. We create a warm, welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for families. We also have several security features in place including secured doors, interior/exterior cameras and ID checks for all visitors.

We plan several events for our families to participate in and we work hard to ensure that they meet each other and develop strong relationships. We also have an outstanding staff with over 215 years of combined experience. They participate in training opportunities throughout the year.

I have been working in the early childhood field since 2010. I have a passion for early childhood education and I love putting a smile on every child's face. I started off my career at Tutor Time in many different classrooms as the lead teacher, however I have branched out to management to make an impact on the entire building. I love that I have the versatility to help teachers in the classroom with curriculum while also being able to engage with every parent in the building.
