Welcome to Our School

Tutor Time of Middle Island has been part of Middle Island, New York, since November 2021, offering daycare and preschool close to Longwood Public Library. Teachers here hold CPR, First Aid, and automated external defibrillator (AED) certifications. Staff members have also taken part in Medication Administration training. Our families come from Coram.

We offer Infants, Toddlers, and Twos, then Preschool and Pre-K, plus Before and After School Care, so your child can stay with us from 6 weeks to 12 years. Third-party tuition assistance is accepted here, so ask us about it on your tour. Learn from the Start® blends sensory exploration with loving relationships, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K connects play with the big idea of Community, like Pre-K children experimenting with cause and effect.

School-age families can ask about bussing with Charles E. Walters Elementary School, Coram Elementary School, and Ridge Elementary School, and we can name more on tour. I have been with Learning Care Group for three years, and have filled many roles at my school. I started as the Infant Teacher and then continued to become our Team Lead, Assistant Director, and now the Director! I currently have my Bachelors Degree, and will be continuing my education further in this field as well. When I am not working, I love to spend time with my rescue pup, Kazi, and finding new places to travel to with my family, (our favorite was Australia!)
