Welcome to Tutor Time Learning Center in Lakeville! We proudly serve families from Lakeville and surrounding communities, including Apple Valley, Burnsville, Savage, Rosemount, Farmington, Eagan, Prior Lake, and throughout Dakota County.
We offer flexible child care options to fit your family’s needs, including full-time and part-time schedules of three or more days per week. Our programs include Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Junior Kindergarten, with learning experiences designed to build a strong foundation for each child’s development and prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
Our school is nationally accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) and has earned a 4-Star Parent Aware rating. Our compassionate team of experienced, tenured teachers is dedicated to providing high-quality care and education while creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. Director
I have more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education. I began my career working with children at the daycare on the St. Catherine University campus before finding my home at Tutor Time. I started as an Infant Teacher, moved into the preschool classroom, and eventually became a Director. I still love spending time in our classrooms, whether I’m reading stories, joining activities, or simply being silly with the children!

Safety and comfort come first in our Infants Program, where Primary Caregivers offer your little one personalized attention. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.
