Thank you for visiting Tutor Time Colleyville! My name is Kimberly Johnson and I am the school director. I have 25 years of childhood education teaching experience, and five years of child care management experience.
Our Infant care, Preschool and School-Age programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development for children ages Infancy through Elementary School. We strive to provide the absolute best education and care for families in the Grapevine, Colleyville, and HEB area, and place a high emphasis on safety, learning through play, fine arts and literacy. We also have a brand-new STEAM lab with exciting learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math.
We are proud to be accredited through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation. Our staff are all CPR and First Aid certified and together, we have over 100 years of child care and teaching experience. Many of our educators hold either a bachelor's degree, a CDA, or Montessori Certifications. All of our teachers receive monthly training as well as ongoing training within Early Childhood Education and student health and safety provided by the State of Texas.
We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.
We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment.
We value the relationships we have with our families and offer many opportunities for them to partner in our school community. We would love to tell you more about our wonderful Tutor Time Educational Childcare Center.
Are you concerned about the impact of COVID on your child’s education? You’re not alone. Now, more than ever, early education matters. We’re here to help.
Starting at the front door, our already robust health and safety procedures have been enhanced to ensure a clean, welcoming school environment. The well-being of your child is our top priority, now, and always.
Soccer, Music, Yoga, Spanish, Phonics, Handwriting & Advanced Math
We’ve been recognized as a high-quality early education program.
Discover opportunities to be creative, engage your mind and body, collaborate with friends, and learn new things. Preschool and Pre-K classroom enhancements include iPads with educational apps; flexible seating options so children can move as they learn; hands-on STEAM activities; robots for early coding.
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.

In addition to my leadership role as an administrator at Tutor Time for the past five years, I truly enjoy teaching our Preschool Prodigies Music Bells Class. Teaching this elective program gives me a chance to engage with a small group of children and share my love of music with our little learners!
