Welcome to Tutor Time Steele Creek in Charlotte, NC. My name is Turina and I am the director. I have been recognized by the North Carolina Division of Child Development as a highly-experienced Level Three Administrator. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration and my Child Development Associate credential.
Our Infant Care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and other programs offer the best early education in the area. We also provide Before- and After-School care for Wingate Park, Palisades Park, Lake Wylie and Rivergate Elementary.
We have new technology in our Preschool, Pre-K, and School-Age classrooms! Preschool and Pre-K children have iPads with educational apps, plus, our Preschool class has an Inspire Plus interactive table and our Pre-K class features a SMART Lab with experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts, and Math. For our school-agers, we have iPads, robots for coding and more.
All of our staff is CPR and First Aid certified and together, we have over 150 years of combined child care experience. Doors are equipped with a security system and only those who are authorized are able to enter.
Our state's Division of Child Development and Office of School Readiness approved our curriculum for a quality bonus point for the North Carolina Star Rated License. Our curriculum is one of seven approved by the state to enhance the overall quality of the child's experience in preschool learning environments.
