Welcome to Our School

Hello, Charlotte! Tutor Time on J.N. Pease Place opened its doors in January 2007 as a daycare and preschool, close to Mallard Creek Greenway and The Math and Science Academy of Charlotte. Our caregivers hold Administration I and II credentials.

You will find Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before and After School Care at our school, serving ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Third-party tuition assistance is welcome at our school, so ask us about it on your tour. Babies grow language and a sense of self through Learn from the Start®, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K lets children learn by doing, like Pre-K children testing cause and effect with wind-powered machines.

Enrichment options include Soccer, which mixes soccer skills with friendship and teamwork, and Spotlight on Spanish, which weaves conversational Spanish into songs and stories. Hi, my name is Latasha Page, and I’m a Charlotte, NC, native. I truly enjoy working with children and feel fortunate to be part of their early learning journey. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is watching children reach new milestones, build confidence, and develop their unique personalities. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our families and helping every child feel supported and excited to learn.

Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space.
