Welcome to Tutor Time in Jacksonville, FL! Our school offers the best Infant Care, Preschool, VPK, and School-Age programs in the area! Our teachers are dedicated professionals who take pride in providing a range of opportunities for children to explore, learn and grow. Most of our amazing staff members have a Child Development Associate (CDA) or higher. When it comes to experienced staff, we have nearly 300 years of combined experience.

The principles of the Tutor Time curricula follow guidelines for developmentally appropriate practices set forth by nationally accredited associations. We believe children are smart in many different ways and by engaging them early on, we can help them build both knowledge and confidence.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. This full-day learning experience enhances your child’s school readiness journey. Every child who turns 4 by September 1 may be eligible for free VPK. Schedule a tour to learn more.

Education: Assosiate's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Certifications: National CDA and an Advanced Director's Credential

I have dedicated my career to children's growth and developmental needs. As the Director here at Tutor Time, I believe personal interactions are what builds a strong community. Everyday I make sure to connect with the families and children in the center. I love watching children grow and learn as they progress through our educational pathway.

My name is Keisha Perkins and I am the School education manager at Tutor Time. I have been in the child care field for over 15 years. I began my career as an assistant teacher and have worked my way up to the management team as a SEM. I love to be able to work and mentor the teachers in the classroom as they continue getting your child ready for Kindergarten and beyond. I have the best of both worlds as I also get to continue building relationships with the teachers, children and parents.
