Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Tutor Time Child Care Learning Center in Dewitt, MI. My name is Melissa Janetzke and I am the center Director. Over the past 14 years, I have dedicated my life to the education of young children and building a partnership with their families. I maintain an open-door policy, and I encourage families to join in on our numerous events!

At Tutor Time, we offer well-rounded educational programs for Infant/Toddlers, Preschoolers and even School-Aged children! Our programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development, while ensuring school readiness. We do this through intentional planning of lessons and developmental tracking for all ages.

Our amazing teachers are highly educated and have many years of experience. Every teacher goes through annual CPR certification and bi-annual First Aid certification. To better serve the children and families, teachers attend ongoing training on child development and early childhood education. In addition, our School Education Manager, Autumn Murphy, provides monitoring of classroom curriculum implementation and support, along with the opportunity for an onsite mentor for teachers.

Melissa Janetzke, Director

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education

I have been with the company for six years; first as a School Education Manager at our Okemos location, and moved to the Director role here in Dewitt in September 2020. I have been working with children since 2009. I live in Holt with my husband Dan, and teenage daughter – our 3 adult children are out on their own. For fun, I enjoy traveling and site seeing, watching DIY shows with my husband, and I'm an avid collector of Cinderella and Harry Potter memorabilia. I look forward to meeting you!

I have been with the company over ten years, working previously as the assistant director at our Lansing location. I have been working with children since 2007. I live 30 minutes outside of Dewitt with my husband and my three wonderful children. Some of my hobbies include spending time with family, especially outdoors. We love to go camping and seeing the sites that nature has to offer. I enjoy going to the movies, reading, and capturing moments. I look forward to welcoming you and your family!
