Welcome to Our School

Welcome! My name is Sarah and I am the director of Tutor Time educational daycare in West Haven, CT. I have been with Tutor Time for a year. Tutor Time offers Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-k, and School-Age programs. Our age-appropriate programs offer the best early education. We are an accredited center through the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Along with being NAEYC Accredited, we also work with the West Haven School Readiness Program and accept Care for Kids.

Our teachers have years of early childhood experience. Their educational backgrounds include Certified Development Associate (CDA) credentials, degrees in education, arts and sciences, and State of Connecticut teaching certificates. Our teachers are also First Aid and CPR certified and trained in the administration of medication.

Additionally, we include breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks, diapers/pull-ups and wipes in tuition!

Sarah Brockett, Director

Education: Bachelor's Degree in History

Certifications: First Aid, CPR, Medication Administration, Epi-Pen and Head Teacher

I am the Director here at Tutor Time of West Haven. I have been working in childcare for 10 years & started off as a teacher in a classroom and have since worked in several different positions preparing me for a role as a Director. When I first started working in childcare I discovered that this is truly the best job in the world as I am able to spend the day caring for & teaching children. I look forward to working with all of our families to create a nurturing environment for your children.

Jennifer Mosman, Preschool Manager

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education

I am the Grants Program Specialist and manage the West Haven School Readiness Grant at Tutor Time. I manage the preschool and pre-K classrooms and work closely with the preschool/pre-K teachers. I have worked in child care for 15 years and it truly is my passion. My goal is to ensure that we are providing our families and children the best quality of care along with ensuring a safe, healthy, and fun environment for children to grow and develop.
