Prepper Daycare (30-36 Months)
Laying the Foundation for Preschool and Beyond
As a Prepper, your child is transitioning from a toddler to a preschool student — and you may be thinking about an early preschool education that will set him or her up for success.
StartSmart curriculum
The StartSmart curriculum provides the three components of an early childhood curriculum: developmentally appropriate experiences, engaging classroom spaces and responsive teacher-child relationships. Our teachers follow children’s developmental needs and interests, concentrating on experiences that will help prepare them for the preschool years.
In the classroom
Our classrooms include areas for playing, learning, sleeping and eating that create a safe and empowering environment. The classrooms are also divided into general areas that meet your child’s need to:
- Move: Here children can use their muscles and bodies for crawling, climbing, jumping, dancing and playing games. This increases physical coordination skills and is a way young children make connections in their brains.
- Explore & Express: Our area for sensory exploration and creative expression. We encourage children to explore their inquisitive natures by experimenting with materials, trying new things and engaging in pretend play.
- Relax: Research shows that many behavioral problems stem from emotionally overwhelming social situations. This quiet and cozy place is where children and teachers can read books, tell stories or have conversations.
