Tutor Time supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation® and Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®)
Tutor Time educational daycare is all about improving the lives of children. That’s also the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®* and RMHC®.** And that’s why for nearly a decade, we’ve been doing all we can to help these worthy organizations.
Our support not only benefits these great causes, but it also benefits the children we serve in our child care centers. They learn valuable lessons about the importance of compassion and community service – lessons that will last the rest of their lives.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation
Founded in 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. With the help of generous donors and nearly 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes every forty minutes and has granted more than 20,000 wishes in the United States since its inception.
Since 2002, Tutor Time has been assisting the Make-A-Wish Foundation through our annual Fall Festival and other fund-raising events. So far, we’ve raised more than $7 million to help make children’s wishes come true.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
The mission of RMHC is to “create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.” RMHC operates its three core programs, Ronald McDonald House®, Ronald McDonald Family Room® and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®, in 54 countries and regions. They award grants to nonprofit organizations that share their vision. Local chapters also award thousands of scholarships each year to outstanding students entering college.
We support RMHC throughout the year with food drives and our fall festival. Teams from Tutor Time go to local Ronald McDonald Houses to cook meals for the children and there families.
