Welcome to Our School

Hello, Torrance! Tutor Time of Torrance opened its doors in July 2006 as a daycare and preschool, beside Hickory Park and near Hickory Elementary School and Madrona Marsh Nature Center. Our teachers bring CPR and First Aid certifications to the classroom.

Our youngest enroll in Infants, Toddlers, and Twos, while Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Transitional Kindergarten Plus serve older children, plus Before and After School Care. Ages 6 weeks to 12 years are welcome. Our school accepts third-party child care assistance; ask us how it works on your tour. Infant days follow Learn from the Start®, where singing builds language, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K helps children connect with the world around them, like Pre-K children testing cause and effect with wind-powered machines.

Soccer lets children run, kick, and cheer on teammates; Spotlight on Phonics focuses on key early literacy skills. Our enrichment list continues on this page. Bussing connects us with Hickory Elementary School. SproutAbout® turns your child's day into real-time photos, video, and care updates, while livestreaming video opens a window to class.

Healthy options at mealtime and snack time give children choices, and we encourage them to sample new foods. We treat safety as our top priority, and that shows in the thorough health and safety standards we follow. Let us show you around: come tour Tutor Time of Torrance at 2850 Sepulveda Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505.
